A. Tipping-bucket raingage to measure rainfall depth and intensity;

B. Datalogger to record data from the sensors, trigger the collection of samples, and alert USGS personnel about rainfall and runoff;

C. Modem to retrieve data and to monitor sites during rainfall and runoff;

D. Automatic water-quality sampler to collect samples during storms;
